At the program, students were informed by officers of the Department of Agriculture and Environment about the harmful effects of plastic waste, the serious risks to human health, the environment and the economy ; solutions to protect the environment from small actions of each individual, such as: building the habit of carrying personal water bottles, limiting the use of pre-packaged plastic water bottles, using cloth bags instead of nylon bags, sorting waste at the source and spreading the message "say no to plastic waste" to friends, family, community...

At the program, students brought a special fashion show with costumes made from plastic waste and recycled materials such as nylon bags, newspapers, cans, plastic bottles, etc.
Through each design, the children convey the message "Limit the use of disposable plastic products, recycle waste to protect the living environment".

Also at the program, the collective of cadres, teachers, staff, students and parents of Bac Cuong Primary School No. 1 actively responded to the movement "Joining hands to support people in flood-affected areas" with a donation of nearly 40 million VND sent to areas heavily affected by natural disasters.
Not only is it a volunteer activity, it is also a meaningful lesson about compassion, sharing spirit and responsibility to the community for students. Through that, they will understand the value of love and know how to live in harmony, helping others in times of trouble.
