Jon Rahm fails to win golf tournament on home soil

(Dan Tri) - Former world number one Jon Rahm (Spain) could not win the Open de Espana tournament held on his home ground. This tournament just ended this morning (October 13, Vietnam time).

On the final day of competition, Marco Penge and Daniel Brown (both British) had a total score of -15 strokes.

This result forced the two golfers to compete in a playoff. In this series, Marco Penge only needed 3 strokes to put the ball in the hole, while Daniel Brown needed 4 strokes. In the end, Marco Penge won the 2025 Open de Espana, Daniel Brown finished second.

Third place went to Joel Girrbach (Switzerland), with a score of -14 strokes. Fourth place went to Tom McKibbin (England), with a score of -12 strokes.
