- In the face of the particularly serious damage caused by storm No. 11, the State Reserve Department ( Ministry of Finance ) has decided to urgently supply 2,000 tons of national reserve rice (free of charge) to support people in Lang Son province to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. Accordingly, from the afternoon of October 11 , the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to organize the reception of rice and give it to people in flooded areas of the old Huu Lung district.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 11, the two units, together with relevant agencies and units, mobilized forces to receive and distribute 350 tons of rice to people in heavily damaged communes such as Yen Binh, Van Nham, Tuan Son, Huu Lung, and Thien Tan with a support level of 15 kg/person/month.

In the next 2 days, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Military Command and relevant levels and sectors will continue to receive the remaining rice and distribute it to people affected by storms and floods in other communes in the province, ensuring strict, timely, correct regulations and to the right subjects.
The Government's urgent provision (free of charge) of 2,000 tons of national reserve rice to Lang Son province to carry out relief work for people suffering from hunger due to the impact of natural disasters is a practical and timely support, helping people. Lang Son soon overcame the immediate difficulties.
