Provincial People's Committee leaders worked with the working delegation of Jeju Provincial Marine Sports Association

On the afternoon of December 27, comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the working delegation of the Jeju Province Sea Sports Association (Korea) led by Mr. Park Seong Jae - Chairman of the Jeju Province Sea Sports Association on the International Kiteboarding Center Project in Ninh Thuan ; some aid and support from the Association in the fields of health, education and cooperation in sending workers from Ninh Thuan province to Jeju province for seasonal work.

Based on the proposals of the Jeju Provincial Sea Sports Association Working Group at previous working sessions, up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has directed departments, branches and localities to handle and resolve issues regarding: Researching investment in building an international kite surfing center in Ninh Thuan; signing a cooperation agreement between the Association and relevant units of Ninh Thuan province to organize annual international kite surfing competitions; supporting funding for building an outdoor library and teaching equipment at Thanh Hai 2 Primary School; proposing to establish a Rotary Club in Ninh Thuan and supporting an ambulance for Ninh Thuan province; supporting the sending of workers from Ninh Thuan province to Jeju province for seasonal work.

In particular, the International Kiteboarding Center Project in Ninh Thuan is proposed to be implemented in the My Hoa beach area, Vinh Hai commune (Ninh Hai). The land area for implementing the project is in accordance with the Provincial Planning approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1319/QD-TTg dated November 10, 2023, in accordance with the land use planning (commercial and service land), the district construction planning and the general construction planning of Vinh Hai commune (identified as tourism land). Based on the provisions of the law on land, the project is in the case of land recovery by the State according to Clause 26, Article 79, Land Law 2024 and in the case of land use rights auction according to the provisions of Clauses 1 and 2, Article 125 of Land Law 2024, regulating the cases of land allocation and land lease through land use rights auction; The basic project ensures sufficient conditions to prepare a dossier for requesting approval of investment policy according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 33 of the Investment Law.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and clarified the contents proposed by the Jeju Province Sea Sports Association Working Group, especially the implementation of the International Kiteboarding Center Project in Ninh Thuan so that the Provincial People's Committee can direct departments, branches and localities to handle and resolve promptly and in accordance with regulations.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the goodwill of the Jeju Provincial Sea Sports Association; wished to continue to receive attention and support from the Association and act as a bridge to invite Korean investors and enterprises to learn, connect, cooperate and promote investment for mutual development. He emphasized that Ninh Thuan province will direct relevant departments, branches and localities to continue to speed up the progress of handling and resolving issues of concern to the Association; in which, it will strive to complete the steps to select investors to implement the International Kiteboarding Center project in Ninh Thuan in June 2025 in accordance with legal regulations; next week, it will seek the opinion of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to receive the aid for Thanh Hai 2 Primary School sponsored by the Association and the representative media agency of Jeju Island, the Voice of Jeju, etc.
