The art of Ca Dao of the Cor people in Tra Bong district, Quang Ngai province is a national intangible cultural heritage.

Accordingly, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to include in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage the folk performing arts: "Ca dao (dance) art of the Co people" in Tra Bong district, Quang Ngai province.

The Chairman of the People's Committee at all levels where intangible cultural heritage exists, within the scope of his/her duties and powers, shall perform state management in accordance with the provisions of law on cultural heritage.

The Cor people's ca dao dance team consists of many women wearing traditional costumes with bright colors, beads on their foreheads, shoulders, and hips, and dancing on a gong and drum background, moving in a circle. Following the gong beat, the Cor girls' arms are raised and their whole bodies gently lean to the left to the sound of the gong, then lean to the right to the sound of the gong. Especially, when the gong beats blend together, the girls with rhythmic feet and supple bodies clearly express their gentleness and strength before the vast sky and earth. In the ca dao dance, the most impressive moment is when the hands are spread out and turned up to the sky, the feet cling to the ground, praying to receive the best things from nature and the mountains and forests.

The festival costumes of Cor women are also a unique feature that enhances the beauty of the Ca Dao dance. During the festival, Cor girls wear colorful costumes. Pure white shirts with black or dark blue skirts, accompanied by elaborate jewelry with colorful beads worn on the head, neck and hips.
