Vietnam Drama Theater: Patriotic emulation movement contributes to raising the Theater's brand

In recent times, the Vietnam Drama Theatre has effectively launched patriotic emulation movements, combined with timely rewards. The emulation activities have aroused the spirit of solidarity and innovation, contributed to stabilizing artistic activities, motivated artists and actors to contribute and gradually raised the Theatre's brand.

The period 2021-2025 is a period with many very special events, the COVID-19 pandemic broke out and spread from the beginning of 2020 to mid-2022, affecting all activities, including the organization and implementation of patriotic emulation movements. The work of building and replicating advanced models was continuously interrupted, and advanced models had few opportunities to demonstrate. The commendation work was also affected. The number of people receiving commendations was low due to not achieving enough achievements according to regulations. However, overcoming the above difficulties, the Vietnam Drama Theater still organized typical emulation movements and achieved remarkable results.

To motivate, attract, and encourage all individuals and groups to promote the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, innovation, dynamism, and creativity to strive to fulfill their tasks well and achieve the best results in their work. Every year, based on the emulation movement launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the unit's planning tasks, the Director of the Theater has launched emulation, registered for emulation, and organized summaries, evaluations, and awards. From the theme: "Promoting tradition, overcoming the present, moving towards the future", the Board of Directors has aroused the spirit of solidarity and determination to revive the Theater. Success after success, audiences have come to the Theater every night. Up to now, the Theater has stabilized and entered a new phase, the phase of "Promoting tradition and elevating the brand of the Vietnam Drama Theater".

Emulation movements associated with timely rewards have created a highly competitive working environment, bringing high performance and efficiency in work. The selected advanced models have received the love and respect of the majority of members in the Theater. The achievements that the models have established have had a high influence, creating motivation and inspiration for everyone to follow and follow, contributing to the construction of the Theater to develop day by day.

The commendation work has paid more attention to the direct labor force, many artists, actors and workers have been commended. In the period of 2021-2025, the Theater had 01 individual awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the State; 01 individual awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister ; 24 individuals awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Minister; 16 individuals awarded the Medal for the Cause of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 03 collectives awarded the title of Excellent Labor Collective; 03 individuals awarded the title of Emulation Fighter at the Ministry level.

In 2021, the Council for awarding the titles of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist of the Theater reviewed and proposed the Council for awarding the titles of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist at a higher level to consider awarding. Result: 08 individuals of the Vietnam Drama Theater were awarded 04 titles of People's Artist and 04 titles of Meritorious Artist by the President. In addition, every year the Theater and many individuals of the Vietnam Drama Theater have been awarded by many Ministries, Branches, and Organizations; many individuals were awarded the titles of Advanced Labor, Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level and Certificates of Merit by the Theater Director.

To carry out patriotic emulation movements and emulation and reward work, the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Drama Theater has directed the specialist in charge of Emulation and Reward work to review, develop, amend and supplement the Regulations and Rules in accordance with the new Law. Specifically: December 12, 2024: Promulgated with Decision No. 324/QD-NHK the Emulation and Reward Regulations of the Vietnam Drama Theater replacing Decision No. 43/QD-NHK dated January 28, 2021; December 30, 2024: Promulgated with Decision No. 362/QD-NHK the Working Regulations of the Emulation and Reward Council of the Vietnam Drama Theater; January 14, 2025: Issued together with Decision No. 52/QD-NHK the Regulations on implementing the bonus regime replacing Decision No. 246b/QD-NHK dated August 30, 2024... The above documents have helped the Emulation - Reward work of the Theater to be public, democratic, with the right purpose and target, contributing to promoting the development of all activities of the Theater.

The patriotic emulation movement of the Culture sector in the period of 2020-2025 has achieved many positive results, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and creativity throughout the sector. The movements are closely linked to political tasks, through which many advanced models and examples have been formed, many valuable cultural and artistic works and products have been born, contributing to preserving and promoting the national cultural identity, building a healthy cultural environment. Grassroots cultural activities or programs and movements launched by the sector have all had remarkable developments. Although there are still some limitations in terms of resources and implementation in some places, in general, the movement has become an important driving force, promoting the development of Vietnamese culture and people in the integration period.

In order for the patriotic emulation movement in the coming time to continue to achieve more effectiveness, the Vietnam Drama Theater proposes: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to strengthen its direction and professional guidance on emulation and reward work. Have policies to encourage cultural and artistic creativity in emulation; The Central Emulation and Reward Committee needs to perfect the reward criteria system in accordance with the characteristics of the cultural sector. Organize training and improve the professional skills of officials working on emulation and reward work at all levels.

In addition, to continue promoting the achievements, each cadre, civil servant, public employee and worker in the cultural sector needs to uphold the spirit of responsibility and enthusiastically participate in patriotic emulation movements. Each individual should be proactive, creative and innovative in their work, contributing to spreading good cultural values ​​to the community. Collectives should unite and join hands to build a healthy cultural environment, meeting the development requirements of the country.
