Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Assistant to the Chairman of the National Assembly, was appointed to the position of Deputy Inspector General of the Government.

Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong (45 years old) is a well-trained officer with a lot of practical experience, has a PhD in Economic Law, a Bachelor of Journalism, and a Senior in Political Theory.

During his working career, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong has held many positions in different fields at the Government Office , Hanoi Party Committee, and National Assembly Office such as: Specialist, Senior Specialist, Senior Specialist; Deputy Head of General Department, Head of General Economic Department, Secretary of Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister; Assistant to the Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee.

From September 2021 until his appointment as Deputy Inspector General of the Government , Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong held the position of Assistant to the Chairman of the National Assembly, receiving salary, benefits, and position allowance coefficient of 1.30, equivalent to Deputy Minister.
