Hanoi honors 20 outstanding young families of the capital

These are young families who are enthusiastic about working, studying, working and raising children; at the same time actively participating in Youth Union movements, contributing their youth to the development of society.

On the evening of October 10, to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025), the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City organized a program to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2025).

Speaking at the program, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City Pham Minh Phuc reviewed the glorious tradition of the Union.

The Vietnam Youth Union, under the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh , has made outstanding contributions to the cause of defending the Fatherland. In particular, the youth of the capital are proud to be the place that initiated the "Three Readies" movement in the resistance war against the US, becoming the trumpet call to battle, encouraging generations of youth across the country to set out.

Continuing that heroic tradition, the youth of the capital today constantly innovate their working methods, maintain the core political role of the Union, gather and unite young people to participate in all fields; strive to take the lead in socio-economic development, pioneer in mastering science and technology, actively participate in volunteer activities for the community, repay gratitude... "With youth, intelligence and constant creativity, we are determined to contribute to building the capital to be increasingly "green - cultured - civilized and modern", Mr. Pham Minh Phuc emphasized.

Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City Pham Minh Phuc called on Hanoi youth and the whole country to continue to move forward firmly, follow Uncle Ho's teachings, build a new generation of youth: pure heart - bright mind - build great ambitions, and be a role model for youth across the country.

At the program, the Hanoi City Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union awarded the "October 15" prize to 13 Union officials with outstanding achievements in Union work and youth movements in 2025; and awarded the prize to 12 "Youth living beautifully" in 2025.

In particular, the Organizing Committee commended 20 outstanding young families in the capital who have made efforts to overcome difficulties and build civilized, progressive and happy homes. These are shining examples in working, studying, working and raising children; at the same time, actively participating in Youth Union and Association movements, contributing youth to the development of society.

At the program, delegates listened to inspirational stories from "Beautiful Youth" examples and exemplary Union officials. They are enthusiastic youth leaders who have overcome difficulties, always fostering the spirit of creativity and innovation to achieve higher efficiency, contributing to affirming the prestige, attractiveness and effective companionship role of the Union for the youth.

The celebration ended with the "Pride of Vietnamese Youth" art Gala program with unique and vibrant performances, expressing the pride, spirit and youthfulness of the youth of the capital, lighting up the fire of enthusiasm for the youth to continue to build and protect the country.
