Speaking at the launching ceremony of the "Digital Literacy for All" movement in the area, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luat, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Phu Ward (HCMC) said that the goal of the movement is to popularize knowledge, equip basic digital knowledge and skills for all classes of people.
Special attention is paid to vulnerable groups, helping them proactively access, exploit and effectively use digital platforms, ensuring that no one is left behind in the national digital transformation process.

An Phu Ward expects the results of the movement to not only be measured by numbers, but also reflected in changes in people's quality of life; especially when the elderly can confidently use smartphones to communicate with their children and grandchildren, and perform online public services; small traders can put their products on e-commerce platforms to expand their business; students can easily access the endless store of human knowledge to learn and create...

In the coming time, An Phu ward will continue to promote the role of the Community Digital Transformation Team, going to every alley, knocking on every door, supporting people to access and use digital technology ; replicating the models of "Digital Family", "Digital Neighborhood Group", "Digital Market", "Each citizen has a digital identity". In particular, maintain the model of "Morning Coffee - Exchange with people" to popularize and update digital skills regularly.

An Phu Ward has a population of 162,930 people, of which workers in boarding houses account for about 50%.
