Notably, in the 60 years of organization, this is the first time a foreign artist has won the title of Best Actor in his debut in the Taiwanese market (China).
As Dr. Pham Van Ninh in The Outlaw Doctor , Lien Binh Phat delivered a convincing performance, successfully portraying the inner conflict between his medical vocation and the harsh challenges of a foreign land. He also demonstrated his ability to control his emotions delicately and his complex psychological depth.
Right after this great success, Lien Binh Phat promises to continue to bring the audience impressive roles with two projects Quan Ky Nam and Bay Tien .
Notably, these two new roles have different colors, one is of deep psychological genre, the other has a thrilling, suspenseful feel.
In which, Quan Ky Nam marks the reunion with director Leon Le (who successfully collaborated in Song Lang ) in an art film set in Ho Chi Minh City in the 1980s.
In the film, he plays Khang, a young translator who meets and finds common ground with an older woman (played by Do Hai Yen).
As for the film project Money Trap , Lien Binh Phat will play the main role of Dang Thuc - a financial expert who falls into the vortex of the money game. The film explores a hot topic of modern society: the problem of phone fraud and high-tech crime.
Money Trap is scheduled to be released on November 21 while Quan Ky Nam is scheduled to be released a week later, on November 28.
