HNP - On October 23, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Viet Hung ward solemnly held a ceremony to put up the signboard of the project "Renovation and upgrading of Viet Hung Secondary School" - a project to welcome the success of the 18th Congress of Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Reporting at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy - Vice Chairman of Viet Hung Ward People's Committee emphasized: With the goal of developing Viet Hung Ward "Sustainable - Civilized - Modern", right from the time of being assigned to manage the area, the Party Committee - People's Committee of the ward has identified investment and renovation of educational infrastructure as one of the key tasks. In particular, the project "Renovation and upgrading of Viet Hung Secondary School" was selected as one of eight typical projects to be completed in 2025, practically welcoming the 18th City Party Congress.

The project was approved by the People's Council of Long Bien District in Resolution No. 44/NQ-HDND dated December 17, 2021 and Approval Decision No. 1988/QD-UBND dated May 19, 2023 of the People's Committee of Long Bien District (formerly). The total land area is 9,904m², construction area is 3,300m²; the scale includes 36 classrooms (renovating 18 old classrooms, building 18 new classrooms) with a system of functional rooms, administrative area, basement parking, gathering yard, fence, garden, permanent house, fire prevention and fighting system and synchronous technical infrastructure.

The total investment of the project is 91.9 billion VND, of which the construction and equipment value is 69 billion VND.

Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Viet Hung Ward, Duong Hoai Nam, presented the Decision to recognize the project "Renovation and upgrading of Viet Hung Secondary School" as a project to welcome the 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Party Committee.

During the construction process, the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward regularly inspected the site, directed the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board to closely coordinate with the construction unit, supervision consultant, ensuring quality, labor safety and progress of the project. Up to now, the project has been completed, bringing a spacious and modern appearance, meeting the needs of teaching and learning, contributing to improving the quality of education of Viet Hung Ward in particular and the City in general.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy also requested the School Board of Directors and teachers to continue to build a team of highly qualified, dedicated and creative teachers in teaching; effectively promote the invested facilities, practice thrift, maintain a green - clean - beautiful - safe environment, contributing to the good implementation of comprehensive education tasks in the new school year 2025-2026.

On behalf of the staff, teachers and students, teacher Trinh Hoang Hoa - Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Viet Hung Secondary School was moved to express deep gratitude to the Party committees at all levels, the government, the specialized departments of the ward and the construction and consulting units for their attention and support throughout the construction process of the project.

"The new, spacious and modern school is a source of pride and also a great responsibility for teachers and students of Viet Hung Secondary School to continue to strive to achieve many achievements in teaching and learning, worthy of the trust and love of the Party Committee, government and local people," emphasized teacher Trinh Hoang Hoa.

Immediately after that, the delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony and installed the project's signboard in the presence and excitement of more than 700 students and a large number of parents, staff and teachers of the school.
