Quang Ninh promotes tourism stimulus in the fourth quarter of 2025

On October 6, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province held a meeting to deploy the tourism stimulus plan for the fourth quarter of 2025. Comrade Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 9 months of 2025, Quang Ninh welcomed 17.11 million tourists, an increase of 9% over the same period in 2024; total revenue reached 44,250 billion VND, an increase of 20%. To achieve the goal of welcoming 21.2 million tourists and 57,000 billion VND in revenue for the whole year, in the fourth quarter of 2025, the province strives to welcome 4.09 million visitors, including 1.25 million international visitors, 2.84 million domestic visitors, with total expected revenue of 12,760 billion VND, an increase of 28% over the same period.

It is expected that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the province will organize a series of about 30 large-scale national events, festivals and stimulus programs with the participation of many famous artists. The province will also step up promotion, advertising, digital communication, launch the Dong Trung - Hoanh Mo border gate tourism route, expand charter flights to welcome Chinese and Korean visitors via Van Don International Airport, develop preferential tourism - service - accommodation combo packages...

At the meeting, tourism businesses proposed the need for more unique, quality tourism products to attract tourists, such as: Grand concert, shining Dragon Bay, surfing Dragon Bay, Ha Long yacht festival, hot air balloon festival, etc.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directed solutions to stimulate tourism in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Entering the fourth quarter of 2025, it is necessary to synchronously, drastically and creatively implement stimulus solutions, striving to complete and exceed the annual target in terms of number of visitors and tourism revenue. Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is required to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Finance and localities to develop a specific stimulus plan, organize a series of events, festivals, fairs, culinary festivals, art programs, sports - sea tourism, creating great attraction, especially on the occasion of the province's founding anniversary on October 30, Christmas and New Year. She also suggested strengthening links with tourism businesses, tourism associations, hotels and restaurants to implement "discount but not quality" programs, such as: Giving vouchers, service incentives, good price combos to attract tourists in the low season.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested to promote communication, promotion, and expand cooperation with Vietnam Television, domestic and foreign media channels, KOLs, and social networking platforms to promote the image of Quang Ninh tourism. Sectors and localities should pay attention to ensuring security, safety, environmental sanitation, and service quality, especially at tourist areas, spots, and festivals.
