Phase 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship kicks off

On the evening of October 7, at the Hoa Lu Ward Sports Gymnasium (Ninh Binh Province), the final match of the opening day of the 2nd phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship took place between Ho Chi Minh City Police and Da Nang City Police in the men's category.

In the final result, the Ho Chi Minh City Police team won overwhelmingly against Da Nang with the scores of 25-16, 25-21 and 27-25 respectively. In the previous matches, the results were: Viettinbank - Geleximco Hung Yen: 3-0 (women); Sanest Khanh Hoa - Tan Cang Public Security: 0-3 (men) and Duc Giang Chemicals - Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement: 3-0 (women).

The second phase of the tournament will feature 16 volleyball teams, including 8 men’s and 8 women’s teams, with the last four group stage matches and the finals. At the end of the group stage, the four men’s and four women’s teams with the best results will advance to the finals in each category. Semi-finals and finals will take place in this round.

On October 8, the group stage will continue with two matches in the men’s and women’s categories. The men’s final is scheduled to take place on October 15 and the women’s final will be held one day later.

Phase 2 of the tournament is organized by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation in coordination with the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province.
