Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism takes action

On October 10, Chief of Office of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh signed and issued an invitation to relevant parties to attend a meeting on October 12 to listen and clarify the case of a player accusing of having his money "cut" in the 2023 First Division.

However, recently on social networks, a complaint appeared from Binh Thuan players sent to the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, the Inspectorate of Binh Thuan province, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan.

According to the complaint, 18 players accused Mr. Le Ba Hung - Director of the Binh Thuan Province Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center of not paying bonuses for the entire season to the team. In addition, the tournament money was continuously cut, given when they wanted, and cut when they didn't want.

In addition, quarterly and annual shoe money has not been received; illegal deductions and taxes for May of some players have not been returned yet.

Receiving the complaint, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan organized a meeting with relevant parties at 8:00 a.m. on October 12 in meeting room No. 1 of the headquarters to listen, discuss and verify the contents of the complaint.

The invitation letter was requested by the Department of Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center of the province to be sent to the football team members today, October 10.

On October 10, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province sent an official dispatch to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) regarding Binh Thuan Club's request not to participate in the 2023 National First Division tournament.

Official dispatch No. 2693/SVHTTDL-QLTDTT clearly states: "Due to the short preparation time for the new season and the Project to socialize Binh Thuan football team to switch to the model of a Football Joint Stock Company (According to the current Professional Football Regulations) has not been approved yet, there are still some difficulties, especially regarding funding and the formation of a football organization operating under the Enterprise Law".
