Can Tho City supports 6 billion VND to help northern provinces overcome storm and flood consequences

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City Nguyen Trung Nhan, on behalf of the leaders and people of Can Tho City, sent condolences and encouragement to the localities affected by storm No. 3; at the same time, hoped that the localities would soon overcome difficulties, overcome the consequences, and stabilize people's lives.

On this occasion, Can Tho city donated 6 billion VND to the provinces of Phu Tho, Yen Bai , Cao Bang, Hai Phong, Lang Son, Lao Cai, each province received 1 billion VND to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On behalf of the 6 supported provinces, Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Hai sincerely thanked the timely attention of the Party Committee, government and people of Can Tho city; at the same time, affirmed that from the supported funding sources, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committees will continue to review and survey to allocate funds directly to the people, ensuring publicity, transparency, and the right subjects, helping people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
