Walking along streets such as Le Van Luong, Hoang Dao Thuy, Kim Ma, Giang Vo, Vo Chi Cong, etc., a series of moon cake stalls of big brands such as Kinh Do, Huu Nghi, Dong Khanh, Thu Huong, etc. were set up since the beginning of the 7th lunar month. Near the full moon day, there were very few buyers.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh, owner of a shop on Tran Duy Hung Street (Cau Giay Ward) said that since the beginning of the Mid-Autumn Festival, customers have not gathered in large numbers but have come to buy sporadically every day.

Ms. Le Minh Anh, owner of a bakery on Le Van Luong Street, said that since the beginning of the season, she has imported more than 1,000 cakes of various brands and retailed them at the company's listed price, from 70,000 to nearly 500,000 VND/cake depending on weight. The number of sales so far has reached 80 - 85% of expectations.

At a row of mooncake stalls on Vo Chi Cong Street, Ms. Minh Anh, an employee at Thu Huong stall, shared that this year's purchasing power has decreased sharply compared to last year - which was already considered "quiet".
