Ho Chi Minh City launched the "Digital Literacy" Movement

On October 11, Ho Chi Minh City launched the “Digital Literacy for All” Movement for the 2025-2026 period. The event aims to popularize digital knowledge and skills, ensuring that no one is left behind in the national digital transformation process.

The launching ceremony was held to concretize the policy of the Party, State and Ho Chi Minh City on digital transformation in propaganda and raising awareness among the people.

The movement's goal is to popularize basic digital knowledge and skills to people, ensuring "universal, comprehensive access, leaving no one behind".

The movement arouses the spirit of proactive learning, training and application of digital skills throughout society, contributing to promoting the people's role as masters in the comprehensive digital transformation process of Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said that in order for the movement to be highly effective, all levels, sectors, political and social organizations must enhance their roles and responsibilities, especially the leaders, in leading and directing the implementation.

"The content and form of the campaign must be close, easy to understand, practical, and closely linked to the practical needs of the people," Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy emphasized.
