Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived in Bucharest, beginning an official visit to Romania.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Romania is the first delegation exchange at the Prime Minister level between the two countries in five years; taking place in the context of the traditional relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Romania, which has a history of more than 70 years, developing well.
During the visit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to hold talks and meetings with the Prime Minister, President, President of the Senate, and President of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania. He will also visit localities and universities; attend the Vietnam-Romania Business Forum; receive representatives of the Romania-Vietnam Friendship Group and meet with officials and staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Romania.
The visit aims to further deepen the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Romania, creating momentum to promote bilateral cooperation in Romania's strong fields and in line with Vietnam's development needs such as agriculture, manufacturing and processing industry, healthcare, etc.; promote business cooperation, attract investment in many potential fields; contribute to facilitating Vietnam's relations with the European Union.
