Coffee prices fell by 2,000-2,500 VND/kg

(GLO)- On October 8, domestic coffee prices fell by 2,000-2,500 VND/kg after yesterday's flat session. Currently, the purchasing price in key areas fluctuates between 114,500-115,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai, coffee was traded at 114,500 VND/kg, down 2,300 VND. Meanwhile, coffee prices in Dak Lak province decreased 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, down to 115,000 VND/kg.

In Lam Dong province, coffee price is currently 114,000 VND/kg, down 2,500 VND/kg.

For the world market, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor decreased slightly compared to the previous trading session. Accordingly, the November 2025 futures contract was at 4,414 USD/ton, down 1.26%; the January 2026 futures contract decreased 1.69%, to 4,388 USD/ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, Arabica coffee prices also continued to decline sharply. The December 2025 futures contract fell 1.55% to 375.40 US cents/lb; March 2026 fell 1.67% to 347.30 US cents/lb.

Following the downward trend, at the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee futures contracts for December 2025 delivery reached 447.30 US cents/pound, down 0.48%; for March 2026 delivery reached 440.0 US cents/pound, down 0.81%.
