Provincial Red Cross Society, Support the Cuban people with more than 6,389 billion VND

On the afternoon of October 16, Vice Chairman in charge of the Dak Lak Provincial Red Cross Society, Nguyen Huu Suu, said: Implementing the Plan of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society on organizing the Program to mobilize support for the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba , ending more than 2 months of launching (August 13 - October 16).

As of 4 p.m. on October 16 , the entire province had 3,406 organizations and individuals participating in supporting the Cuban people with a total amount of more than 6,389 billion VND. The province has transferred the entire amount to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross to support the Cuban people.

After the launch, many typical units and individuals responded to support such as: officials and people of Tuy Hoa ward (242.8 million VND); officials and people of Ea Ktur commune (232.8 million VND), Petrolimex Dak Lak One Member Co., Ltd. (200 million VND); Dak Lak Electricity Company (166.8 million VND)...

The Provincial Red Cross Society presented money to support the Cuban people in the first phase.

The above results were achieved thanks to the attention and direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; the close and synchronous coordination between the Provincial Red Cross Society with departments, branches, sectors, unions, armed forces at the same level and the Party Committee, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes and wards in the province; especially the active participation and response of all classes of people in the province.

In addition, the Provincial Association has coordinated with the Provincial Newspaper, Radio and Television to report news, articles and images on the program's support activities; coordinated to place propaganda billboards in places where people often gather such as supermarkets, banks, etc.; at the same time, organized propaganda and mobilized participation in support on online platforms such as Facebook, Fanpage, Zalo of the Provincial Association with over 1,500 followers.
