The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction was assigned to monitor 29 projects, constructions, and backlogged land plots in various cases. The Department has reviewed, resolved, and removed 25 projects from the list of projects that need to be removed.

The remaining 4 projects are being monitored and resolved due to problems related to planning regulations or procedures in the construction and operation stages such as: granting or adjusting construction permits, granting permits to sell future houses...

The Department of Construction has established and completed a special working group to review and remove difficulties and obstacles for constructions, projects and land plots in the area. The special working group is headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the City People's Committee; the Department of Finance is the standing body of the working group; the Department of Construction is a member.

The Department of Construction will coordinate with the Department of Finance to report to the Working Group to review and resolve problems and give opinions on related contents within its functions and tasks.
