Pacific University signed a cooperation agreement with Halal Vietnam Co., Ltd.

On the morning of October 9, Pacific University held a signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement (MOU) with Halal Vietnam Company Limited.

Representatives of the two units signed the cooperation agreement.

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to cooperate in the following areas: Training and developing human resources in the field of Halal tourism; organizing short-term training courses, seminars, and specialized training courses; supporting consulting on building accommodation and service facilities according to Halal standards; co-organizing scientific research activities, communication, and promoting Halal services. Thereby, promoting the strengths of each side in the field of training, research, and development of Halal services, contributing to improving the quality of human resources in the tourism - hotel - restaurant industry.

Halal tourism is a type of tourism that provides accommodation, food and experience services in accordance with Islamic religious and cultural regulations. The global Halal tourism market is forecast to continue to grow in the coming years, a potential segment that the Vietnamese tourism industry is exploiting.
