We highly appreciate its operational capacity, scientific menu according to age, team of chefs trained in food safety standards and timely support services.”

The kitchen system at Newton Primary and Secondary School (Hai Phong campus) is operated according to HACCP/ISO 22000 standards, licensed by the Department of Health and closely monitored daily. Operations staff directly check the quality, expiry date and storage temperature of food. The entire process of preparation, processing and portioning is monitored and fully recorded in the kitchen diary.

The kitchen is equipped with a surveillance camera system, food samples are stored for 72 hours and sent for periodic testing, ensuring transparency in every stage of service. All staff wear uniforms, are strictly trained in food safety and have regular health check-ups. The school also coordinates with contractors to form groups to discuss daily work and control service quality.

Not only focusing on supervision, Newton Primary and Secondary School (Hai Phong campus) also ensures nutrition through a menu developed by experts, balancing four groups of nutrients: Starch, protein, vegetables and milk or fruit. Each lunch provides about 30 - 40% of energy needs, helping students maintain health and develop comprehensively both physically and mentally.

To keep meals appealing, Vinastory designs a 4-week menu cycle, rotating dishes and cooking methods such as steaming, baking, braising, and boiling. The school also regularly organizes “special food days”, from European, vegetarian to traditional dishes, receiving feedback from students to adjust their tastes accordingly. Every month, the school conducts a survey to record direct feedback from students in each class to serve as a basis for adjusting and improving menu development, cooking quality, and staff service attitude.

According to the school representative, all input materials have clear certificates of origin and quarantine, and are processed according to a one-way kitchen process with separate zones. Each meal is sampled for 72 hours, sent for periodic testing and sudden inspection when necessary.

For students with allergies or special nutritional needs, parents must fill out medical records upon enrollment so that the school can understand their health status. Teachers and medical staff closely monitor meals to ensure absolute safety.

In addition, to maintain order and open space, primary and secondary school students are divided into shifts to eat at the central cafeteria. After each shift, the area is cleaned and disinfected, maintaining a clean and safe learning environment.
