Vietnam team promoted after victory over Nepal

Vietnam's national football team had an impressive 3-1 victory over Nepal. This result brought about remarkable changes for coach Kim Sang-sik and his team in the world rankings.

Before the match against Nepal in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, the Vietnam team was ranked 115th in the world .

On the evening of October 9, in Group F of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, the Vietnamese team defeated 10-man Nepal with goals from Tien Linh, Xuan Manh and Van Vi.
