On the morning of October 10, at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC), a meeting was held to deploy preparations for the return match between Nepal and Vietnam (7:30 p.m. on October 14), within the framework of the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh - Director of Thong Nhat Sports Center. Also attending were representatives of security, Thong Nhat Sports Center and functional departments of VFF.

The 3-1 victory helped the Vietnamese team consolidate second place in Group F with 6 points, continuing to chase Malaysia's top spot and opening up many hopes in the race for tickets to the 2027 Asian Cup finals.

At the meeting, representatives of VFF's functional departments gave a preliminary report on the organization of the first leg match between Vietnam and Nepal (October 9 at Go Dau Stadium), and reviewed and completed plans related to security, safety, media, spectators and match management for the upcoming second leg.
Representatives of the Thong Nhat Sports Center affirmed that they will closely coordinate with VFF and related units to ensure the match is organized safely, professionally and in accordance with AFC regulations.
Coach Kim Sang-sik hopes his students will improve their finishing and defend more alertly.
There is agreement on broadcasting the match between Nepal and Vietnam
The return match between Nepal and Vietnam, taking place at 7:30 p.m. on October 14 at Thong Nhat Stadium, will continue to be broadcast live by VFF in coordination withFPT Play on the digital platforms of the two units, to serve a large number of fans nationwide.
According to Thanh Nien , this is the match that VTV has successfully purchased the broadcasting rights in Vietnam. VTV has agreed to let FPT Play rebroadcast the match. VTV will broadcast on VTV5 channel and VTVgo application.
In the first leg, FPT Play was the copyright owner and agreed to let VTV rebroadcast.
Currently, the Organizing Committee is also implementing a plan to prepare to issue tickets to watch the match live at the Thong Nhat Stadium ticket counter starting from October 12. Mornings from 9:30 to 11:30, afternoons from 19:00 or until tickets run out, whichever comes first.
