Vietnam becomes new destination in Emirates' pilot recruitment campaign

Emirates, the world's largest international airline, will hold a pilot introduction and recruitment program in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from late November to early December, as part of its global recruitment campaign.

According to Emirates, the presentations are for experienced commercial pilots who want to apply for the First Officers Type Rated, Direct Entry Captains or Accelerated Command Program positions. Candidates can register directly at the event to learn about Emirates' recruitment process, training programs, career paths and benefits policy.

Mr. Majid Al Falasi, Emirates Country Manager in Vietnam, said: “Emirates pilots operate the world’s most modern wide-body fleet, serving more than 153 destinations globally. We look forward to welcoming Vietnamese pilots to our team as the airline expands its operations.”

Emirates said it plans to recruit more than 1,500 pilots over the next two years, about 550 this year alone, to meet the needs of growing international fleets and passengers.

Pilots working at Emirates enjoy a competitive tax-free salary, 42 days annual leave, free annual air tickets for themselves and their families, and educational benefits, medical, dental and life insurance.

The airline also invested heavily in training facilities with a new $135 million training center in Dubai, covering more than 5,600 square meters, equipped with 10 flight simulators and six full-size simulators for the A350 and Boeing 777X.

Emirates currently operates the world's largest fleet of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, has taken delivery of the first 10 A350s out of 65 on order, and plans to receive an additional 205 Boeing 777X aircraft in the near future.

The recruitment program will take place at Melia Hanoi Hotel on November 28 and 29 and at Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City) on December 1 and 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
