Hanoi introduces 86 people, elects 75 members of the City Party Executive Committee

(Dan Tri) - The 18th City Party Executive Committee, term 2025-2030, is expected to have 75 members, an increase of 4 members compared to the 2020-2025 term.

According to the approved program, on the afternoon of October 16, at the 18th Congress of Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025-2030, delegates elected the 18th Executive Committee of the City Party Committee.

On behalf of the Presidium in directing the election of the 18th City Party Committee Executive Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, presented the personnel plan for the 18th City Party Committee Executive Committee prepared by the 17th City Party Committee Executive Committee.

The personnel plan clearly stated the requirements, standards, structure and proposed number of members of the 18th City Party Executive Committee, including 75 people.

Next, Mr. Phong reported to the congress the list of nominees for the 18th City Party Executive Committee.

Based on the Personnel Project for the 18th City Party Executive Committee prepared by the 17th City Party Executive Committee and approved by the Central Committee, the 17th City Party Executive Committee has prepared a list of nominees for the 18th City Party Executive Committee, including 86 people (14.67% balance).

According to the congress program, this afternoon the congress will announce the list of 75 members of the 18th City Party Executive Committee.

In addition, in the 2025-2030 term, the number of members of the Hanoi Party Committee Standing Committee is 17 people, the number of Standing members of the Party Committee is 5 people.

Personnel standards are implemented according to Regulation No. 89-QD/TW of the Politburo on the framework of title standards and orientation of criteria framework for evaluating leaders and managers at all levels.

The structure of the Hanoi Party Executive Committee, term XVIII, ensures three age groups, the proportion of female and young cadres, and a reasonable structure between fields and working areas.

The Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, 18th term, needs to have the following structure:

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has 5 members including the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries.

The Party Committees and the City Party Committee Office have 9 members, of which the City Party Committee's Organization Committee has 2 members; the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has 2 members; the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee has 2 members; the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has 2 members; and the City Party Committee Office has 1 member.

The Standing Committee of the City People's Council and the City National Assembly delegation include the Vice Chairmen of the City People's Council and the Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation of 4 people.

The agencies of the City People's Council select and introduce 1 person from the units of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council, and the City People's Council committees.

The City People's Committee leadership includes 5 vice chairmen.

The armed forces selected and recommended 3 people from the Capital Command and City Police, of which 2 were from the army and 1 was from the police.

The leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city includes 5 people from the city's socio-political organizations.

The Party Committee at the higher level directly under the city's direct base selects and introduces 1-2 people to the Party Committees of the city's Party agencies and the Party Committee of the City People's Committee, the Party Committees of Hanoi universities and colleges, and the Party Committee of Hanoi National University.

The block of specialized agencies, departments, and city administrative organizations is distributed according to focal points with a number of 10 to 13 people.

Party committees of communes and wards have from 22 to 28 people.
