Navy Region 4 provides free medical examination and medicine to people in Khanh Son commune

On October 11, Naval Region 4 organized medical examinations, treatment, and provided free medicine to people in Khanh Son commune. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tao - Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 101 led the working group.

People get free health check-ups and medicine.

The activity had the participation of nearly 30 officers, doctors and nurses from the Military Medical Department of Naval Region 4 and the Infirmary of Brigade 101. The doctors and nurses examined, provided health care and provided free medicine to more than 300 people from the commune's policy families with a budget of nearly 100 million VND. The focus was on internal - mental and neurological examination; pulse and blood pressure measurement; dermatological examination, eyes, ears - nose - throat, teeth - jaw - face, general ultrasound, thyroid, electrocardiogram; consultation on diseases, treatments, prescriptions and instructions on drug use.

This is a meaningful activity towards the 50th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Naval Region 4 (October 26, 1975 - October 26, 2025); implementing a program combining military and civilian medicine to contribute to health care for policy families in the commune; combining information and propaganda about the sea and islands to the people in the area.
