From October 10 to 12, Hanoi will become the center of global culture with the first Hanoi World Culture Festival, taking place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center - a world cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO. The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee, promises to bring a colorful picture, where Vietnamese and world cultures blend.
With the aim of honoring the value of cultural diversity and enhancing people-to-people exchange, the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi brings together 48 participating countries with 45 national cultural spaces, 34 international culinary booths, 23 domestic and foreign art troupes, 12 units introducing books and publications, and 22 countries participating in the international film screening program.

The public will be immersed in a diverse cultural space, from performing arts, music , folk dance, traditional costumes to cinema and cuisine. All are held in the heart of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage - a thousand-year cultural symbol of the Capital.
The opening ceremony took place on October 10 with musical performances from famous artists such as Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy, and international art troupes. The program combined traditional and modern art, using 3D Mapping projection technology, conveying the message: Culture is a bridge connecting humanity, creativity is a common language. Next, the closing ceremony was held on the evening of October 12. Here, Truc Nhan, Hoang Thuy Linh and international artists will close the festival in a vibrant atmosphere, full of exchange.
In addition, the festival also has many unique art activities such as Fashion Show - Heritage Footsteps, Cultural Road and exhibitions that take visitors to explore booths of nearly 50 countries such as Japan, Korea, USA, Russia, France, Laos... Colorful art performances with acts such as Central Highlands Gong, Bac Ninh Quan Ho, Cheo, Chau Van of Vietnam, in addition to performances from Japan, Russia, Cambodia, Iran, Cuba, Indonesia...
In addition, on October 11-12, Thang Long Imperial Citadel Hall will become a cinema, introducing typical Vietnamese and international cinema works, bringing a unique experience to lovers of the seventh art.
