Not only is it a meeting of friendship between cultures around the world , the festival also has a profound humanitarian meaning – towards communities heavily affected by natural disasters. Thereby, it demonstrates the spirit of international solidarity in joining hands to solve global challenges, especially the issue of climate change, which no country can stand aside from.
At the festival, colorful cultural spaces are vividly recreated: from traditional Asian - European dances, international costume and cuisine exhibition areas, to unique Vietnamese art performances with the message "The world beats together with love".
In particular, the charity auction and donation program attracted strong responses from organizations and individuals. All funds raised will be transferred to localities affected by floods, to support the reconstruction of houses, schools and civil works, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love.
The first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi is not only an international cultural and artistic exchange event, but also a bridge between culture, art and humanity, affirming the message: "When culture connects, the world joins hands, there is no challenge that cannot be overcome, for a sustainable future for everyone."
The opening ceremony took place on the evening of October 10, with the participation of many famous Vietnamese artists such as Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy... and international artists. The event is open to the public for free on October 11 and 12, promising to bring a space for exchange, sharing and spreading the spirit of humanity between the domestic community and international friends.
