Timely emergency treatment for 10 elementary school students stung by wild hornets

At around 12:30 pm on October 10, on the way home from school, a group of students from Son Vi Primary Boarding School, Son Vi commune, were suddenly attacked by a swarm of hornets, causing 10 students to be stung many times all over their bodies.

Officers of Son Vi Border Guard Station and doctors of Son Vi Commune Health Station give first aid to students.

Immediately after receiving the news, Son Vi Border Post, Provincial Border Guard quickly sent medical officers and soldiers to the scene, organized first aid for the students; at the same time coordinated with teachers and families to take the students to Son Vi Commune Health Station for treatment. According to initial records, some students when stung by bees had headaches, difficulty breathing, red rashes all over the body, of which 4 cases were severe leading to low blood pressure, unable to walk.

Thanks to timely emergency care, the students' health has gradually stabilized.

Son Vi Commune Health Station administered anti-shock fluids, actively eliminated urine, and detoxified the students' bodies after being stung by bees. Thanks to timely first aid, by the evening of the same day, the health of the 10 students was basically stable and no longer in danger. They continued to be monitored and cared for until they recovered.
