The Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity works in Binh Thuan

BTO-On the afternoon of August 12, Inspection Team No. 5 of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity, led by Comrade Doan Hong Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Government Inspector General, Member of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity, deployed the inspection plan in Binh Thuan .

Speaking at the working session, comrade Doan Hong Phong emphasized: To improve the effectiveness of detecting and handling corruption, on May 28, 2024, the Central Steering Committee on Anti-corruption and Negative Issues issued Plan No. 44-KH/BCĐTW on inspecting the leadership, direction, and implementation of the coordination mechanism for detecting and handling corruption and negative issues through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments and the Decision to establish inspection working groups in many provinces and cities across the country, including Binh Thuan province.
Through inspection to grasp the situation, evaluate the leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations and the results of implementing the Coordination Mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negativity through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of sentences on corruption, economic , and negativity cases of competent agencies. From there, point out the limitations, difficulties, obstacles and causes; propose solutions to overcome and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing the Coordination Mechanism.

At the working session, delegates listened to the representative of Inspection Team No. 5 announce the inspection plan, the Decision to establish the Working Team and the inspection program of the team for the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee along with a specific working schedule at a number of agencies, units and localities of the province.

Delegates also heard reports on the situation and results of leadership, direction and implementation of the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negativity through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of sentences on corruption, economic and negative cases of the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee.
The members of the delegation also spoke and clarified the contents of the report of the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee and the working plan of the working delegation.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh said that recently, the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee have paid attention to thoroughly grasping and leading the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Action to implement a coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negative actions through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments, and have achieved some results.
However, the implementation process still has many limitations, difficulties and problems. The inspection team's work in Binh Thuan is an opportunity for the province to self-review and gain deeper understanding of the coordination mechanism, on that basis, absorb the conclusions of the inspection team, promote the achievements, learn from the existing limitations and propose solutions to do better in the coming time. Based on the opinions of the members of the inspection team at the working session, Binh Thuan will review and supplement the report; at the same time, request the agencies and units to fully prepare the content to serve the inspection team according to regulations.

Immediately after the Conference to deploy the Inspection Plan, the Delegation will work with a number of agencies, units and localities of the province, conduct examination and verification to synthesize and develop a report to submit to the Steering Committee.
