Exciting "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program and honoring children of BSR employees who achieved high achievements in studying and training in the 2024-2025 school year

On October 4, at the Quang Ngai Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the Trade Union of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) in collaboration with the BSR Youth Union organized the "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program for children of officers and employees in the entire Company. This is a meaningful annual activity to bring children a warm Mid-Autumn Festival, while also encouraging and promoting the studiousness and training spirit of the young generation of BSR.

Attending the program were Mr. Khuong Le Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of BSR ; Mr. Cao Tuan Si - Director of Dung Quat Refinery; Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Chairman of the BSR Trade Union; Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Secretary of the BSR Youth Union; along with comrades in the Factory Board of Directors, the Executive Board of the Trade Union, the Company Youth Union and more than 1,500 children of BSR employees.

In the 2024-2025 school year, 1,528 children of BSR employees achieved the title of good, excellent, and excellent students. Of these, 87 students won prizes at the District/City level, 78 students won prizes at the Provincial level, and especially 05 students won prizes at the National level, contributing to the tradition of studiousness, overcoming difficulties, and intelligence of the children of BSR employees.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Khuong Le Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of BSR emphasized: "BSR always cares and creates the best conditions for employees' children to have a comprehensive learning and training environment. The joy in the children's achievements is the pride of the family and the Company."

Students who are children of BSR employees and have high academic achievements are commended and rewarded.

Board member Khuong Le Thanh also reiterated the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh : "Whether Vietnam becomes beautiful or not, whether the Vietnamese people can step up to the stage of glory to stand shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the five continents or not, depends largely on your studies" and expressed the hope that you will continue to cultivate virtue, train your talents, live with ideals and aspirations to contribute to society.

In the bustling atmosphere of the gala night, many exemplary students were recognized. Notably, Mai Huu Khoi - son of Mai Huu Duy (Production Operations Department), just became valedictorian of Le Khiet High School for the Gifted in the 2025-2026 school year.

Sharing his study secrets, Khoi said: “I always set clear goals for each stage of study, master basic knowledge and divide the content into small parts to understand each part deeply. I often practice more with difficult exercises, consider it a way to challenge myself, and always maintain my passion and perseverance. When I encounter unclear problems, I proactively discuss with teachers and friends to find solutions. Outside of school hours, I read books and play sports to relax, help my mind relax and study more effectively.”

Khoi's achievements are not only the pride of his family but also a testament to the studious spirit and efforts of BSR workers' children - the "green shoots" growing up with intelligence, determination and aspiration to conquer knowledge.

The good academic achievements of employees' children are the pride of their families and of BSR Company.

Special performance

The “Mid-Autumn Festival” program also offers many exciting activities such as making figurines, making cakes, making lanterns, dancing on bamboo poles, and special performances by children and BSR youth union members, creating a joyful, vibrant and meaningful atmosphere.
