BSR attends APPEC 2025 in Singapore: Affirming the position of Vietnamese energy enterprises

Recently, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) attended the 41st Asia-Pacific Petroleum and Energy Conference (APPEC) in Singapore. This is the most prestigious annual event of the oil and gas industry, bringing together international energy corporations, national oil and gas companies, crude oil and intermediate material producers and traders, and many global logistics enterprises.

BSR 's working delegation was led by General Director Nguyen Viet Thang, along with representatives of the Business Department, Production Coordination Department and a number of specialized staff. During the conference week, BSR had many bilateral working sessions with major partners such as ExxonMobil, Vitol, Shell, Socar, Chevron, Equinor, Repsol, PTT, Glencore, Trafigura, Marquis Energy... to discuss market trends, diversifying crude oil supply sources, supplying intermediate materials, developing sustainable biofuels and international cooperation.

Sharing about this business trip, BSR General Director Nguyen Viet Thang emphasized: “In the context of the volatile world oil and gas market, BSR has determined that it is necessary to regularly update market trends, diversify the supply of crude oil, raw materials and manufactured products to ensure stable and effective operation of Dung Quat Oil Refinery. Attending APPEC is an opportunity for us to expand international cooperation in the field of raw materials, biofuels and new products, in line with the strategic orientation of sustainable development”.

The presence at APPEC 2025 not only helps BSR strengthen relationships with traditional partners but also expand international cooperation, contributing to ensuring a stable supply and diversifying raw materials for Dung Quat Oil Refinery, while enhancing the position of Vietnamese energy enterprises in the global supply chain.
