The Mid-Autumn Festival, which took place over two days (October 4-5) in Nghia Lo Ward, brought a bustling and warm moonlit season. For the first time, in the Muong Lo basin, the Mid-Autumn Festival was organized on a large scale, uniquely and attractively... The event brought joy to children, locals and tourists from all over the country, while also contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and preserving the beauty of local traditions.

At Bong Lua Square, Nghia Lo Ward - the central location of the festival, from very early morning, on all the roads, people and tourists eagerly flocked to wait for the moment when the August moon season brightens. This year, in addition to bringing childhood joy, the Mid-Autumn Festival is also an opportunity for Nghia Lo Ward to continue affirming the vitality of the Muong Lo festival land.

For the first time, the ward organized a "Beautiful Mid-Autumn Lantern Model Competition" with the participation of 13 residential groups and schools in the area. 13 competing teams are 13 Mid-Autumn lantern models with familiar symbols such as Hang, Cuoi or unique cultural features of ethnic minorities in the area. Outstanding models are the lanterns "Golden Buffalo under the Moonlight", "Mid-Autumn Festival Calls Fish" or "Horse"... Each model is a story, a slice of culture decorated with creativity and community spirit.

As the lively music began to play, groups of colorful lanterns paraded through the streets. The giant star lanterns, carp lanterns, and moon lanterns shimmered in the night, blending with the laughter of children, creating an unprecedentedly vibrant Mid-Autumn Festival picture. Tourists and locals crowded together on both sides of the street, holding their phones high to capture unforgettable moments.

Mixed with the bustling Mid-Autumn Festival music were the cheers and applause of thousands of spectators. Among the eager crowd, Lo Thi Hoa from Nam Toc residential group, Nghia Lo ward, attentively looked up at the nearly 3 meter tall "Full Moon on the High Mountain" lantern. Hoa said with delight: "Since I was little, I have never seen a Mid-Autumn Festival lantern this big and beautiful. I am very proud because the lantern has the patterns of our Thai ethnic group."

Sharing the same feeling, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh - a tourist from Hanoi , expressed: Coming back to Nghia Lo this time, I feel surprised and lucky to witness the bustling atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival here, everything is as vibrant as the Muong Lo festival. The lantern models are imbued with the cultural identity of the highlands, with the participation of many people, the girls wearing Thai dresses smiling coquettishly are really impressive.

The joy of Mid-Autumn Festival in Nghia Lo Ward is even more widespread and meaningful with meaningful gifts. 80 children with difficult circumstances in Nghia Lo Ward were given gifts, each worth 100,000 VND. In the bright eyes and innocent smiles of the children, the affection, care and sharing from the government and the community became so close and warm.

Lo Van Ngoc, a student in Ban Ten residential group, is in difficult circumstances, orphaned by both parents. Ngoc is currently living with his elderly grandparents. Unable to hide his emotions when receiving gifts, Ngoc shared: I have never participated in such a big and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival. Receiving gifts from the uncles in the ward, I am very happy. I promise to try to study well, become a good child, a good student, and later be a useful person for society.

Behind the joy of children, people and tourists from all over the world is the joint effort of the entire political system. To prepare carefully for the Mid-Autumn Festival, Nghia Lo Ward has mobilized the synchronous participation of residential groups, schools and businesses in the area. In the days before the festival, from early morning to late at night, the sounds of chiseling, cutting bamboo, and bustling discussions can be heard in every alley. All are aimed at bringing children a special Mid-Autumn Festival, full of joy.

From a festival night, this place has become a space for meeting and exchange, for folk culture to shine in the hearts of people and tourists, suggesting new directions for exploiting national cultural values ​​in tourism development.
