Da Nang City Post Office: Donated 160 million VND to support flood victims

DNO - On October 10, Vietnam Post Corporation held a fundraising event to support postal staff in provinces and cities and people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

Responding to the launching ceremony, Da Nang City Post Office donated and supported (phase 1) with a total amount of 160 million VND to join hands with Vietnam Post Corporation to share with colleagues and people in the provinces affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

The leaders of Vietnam Post Corporation said they will urgently transfer the money and goods to localities affected by the storm, ensuring the right people, right places, right time, with the highest sense of responsibility.

According to Vietnam Post, due to the impact of storms No. 10 and 11, many officials, employees, and workers of the industry suffered losses. Houses had their roofs blown off, the Post Office - Cultural Center of the commune, and properties were submerged in water, making it difficult to serve the people.
