Coach Okiyama Masahiko of the Vietnam U17 women's team expressed his satisfaction with the preparation process, especially the training trip in Germany. Meanwhile, Guam coach Chyna Ramirez sees the tournament as a valuable opportunity to rebuild the island nation’s youth women’s football. “We know Vietnam is very strong, but we are ready for the challenge with the right tactics,” she said. Player Hope Hutapca affirmed that Guam has been well prepared physically and tactically since last year.
Coach Chan Shuk Chi of Hong Kong (China) said her team had a perfect start with the training trip in Thailand: "The players are in the best condition and eager for the opening match."
All three teams showed confidence and ambition, promising to bring exciting matches in Group D - where the only ticket to the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Championship is waiting for a worthy owner.
