Indonesian fans angry with Kluivert

On the morning of October 12, the Indonesian team once again disappointed fans when they lost 0-1 to Iraq in the 4th qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.

This defeat shattered Indonesia's dream of participating in the 2026 World Cup, as it is certain to finish at the bottom of Group B. The performance against Iraq continued to expose the weaknesses of the archipelago team under coach Patrick Kluivert.

On social media, many Indonesian fans see the Barcelona legend as nothing more than a "disaster" on the coaching bench. The statistics of "Timnas Indonesia" under Kluivert's reign are clear evidence of his decline.

In 8 matches under the Dutch coach, the archipelago team only won 3 victories against not-so-strong opponents such as Bahrain, China and Chinese Taipei. Besides that, there was 1 draw against Lebanon and 4 defeats against big teams such as Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia and most recently Iraq.
