Ms. Nguyen Thi Chung, Head of the Then singing and Tinh lute club of Thai Son commune, guides young members to practice playing the Tinh lute. |
As one of the senior members of the Club, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuong confided that since she was a child, she followed her grandfather to learn Quan Lang singing, Coi singing, Then singing... In the past, on every holiday and Tet, young men and women could sing and respond from day to day, with rich lyrics, expressing their understanding of nature, life, and behavior in family and society. Nowadays, if there are no dedicated people preserving those beautiful and unique features of the nation, they will gradually fade away, and young people will become increasingly indifferent to national culture. Therefore, she and the members of the Club not only practice and perform on holidays and Tet, but also actively teach the children; arousing in them a love for national culture.
