According to Chosun Daily, the fire broke out at around 11:29 p.m. on October 11 at a restaurant in Gaypeong, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Upon receiving the news, the fire department deployed 72 personnel and 35 pieces of equipment to put out the fire. The fire was brought under control after about 3 hours and 25 minutes.

The horrific fire killed four people in a family, including the restaurant owner and his wife, both in their 40s, and their two teenage children.
It is understood they were inside the building when the fire broke out and were unable to escape in time.
According to the Fire Department, the fire burned down a 171-square-meter building and caused an estimated 59 million won in property damage.
Police and fire authorities have opened an investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the fire.
"When we arrived, the fire had spread throughout the building, making rescue operations difficult. We are analyzing many possibilities, including electrical factors, to determine the origin of the fire," a fire official informed.
