Ancient relics in the heart of the countryside
The event attracted a large number of monks, Buddhists and local people to attend, marking an important milestone in the journey of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Hat Mon land, which preserves many historical marks of the ancient Doai region.
Hoa Thon Pagoda was built during the Canh Thinh period (late 18th century - early 19th century), and is one of the typical ancient pagodas in the Northern Delta. With its traditional architecture and a space imbued with spiritual elements, the pagoda has long been a spiritual support, a place for local people to place their faith and pray for peace.
After more than two centuries of existence, although time and historical changes have faded many traces, Hoa Thon Pagoda still retains its ancient features and unique artistic value.
In 2002, the project was recognized as a Historical - Cultural Relic by the People's Committee of Ha Tay province (now Hanoi ), affirming the position of the pagoda in the capital's cultural heritage treasure.

Preserving the old spirit in the new life
The Hoa Thon Pagoda restoration project started on March 21, 2024, with a total investment of more than 12 billion VND. The items implemented synchronously include Tam Bao, Mau Temple and campus landscape, ensuring harmony between ancient elements and modern breath.
After completion, the project will not only restore the original beauty but also create a spacious cultural and religious space, worthy of being a spiritual gathering place for the people of Hoa Thon.
At the ceremony, Venerable Thich Dam Nga, Abbot of Hoa Thon Pagoda, expressed his gratitude to the local government, people and Buddhists from all over the world who have joined hands and contributed their time and money to complete the project of profound humanistic value.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Son, Chairman of Hat Mon Commune People's Committee emphasized: "The inauguration of Hoa Thon Pagoda not only demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and gratitude to ancestors, but also affirms the awareness of preserving and promoting the value of heritage and cultural identity of the homeland".
After restoration, Hoa Thon Pagoda will continue to be a space for religious activities and at the same time become a unique cultural and spiritual tourist destination, contributing to promoting the development of community tourism in Hat Mon and neighboring areas.
In modern life, the pagoda still retains the function of "preserving the village soul", connecting the past - present, people - nature, contributing to spreading the good values of the morality of "remembering the source of drinking water" in the heart of the thousand-year-old capital.
