Nam Dinh Club has just added a foreign player for the 2025 - 2026 season, that is goalkeeper Caique from Brazil. Caique was born in 1997, has a height of up to 1.98 m.

Before moving to Nam Dinh FC, Caique played for famous teams in Brazil such as Gremio and Esporte Clube Vitória. The 28-year-old goalkeeper had a total of 32 appearances in Serie A and had a period of time playing for the U.20 Brazil team.

Caique's presence helps Nam Dinh Club supplement its defense personnel, in the context of the team competing in many arenas in the 2025 - 2026 season. Thus, after many years, V-League welcomes a foreign player in the goalkeeper position.

Previously, V-League had many high-class foreign goalkeepers such as Santos of Long An (later naturalized, named Phan Van Santos), Nikola of Ninh Binh (named Dinh Hoang La), or Wieger Sietsma, who used to play for Heerenveen of the Netherlands.

Caique also joined Nam Dinh's impressive foreign players. Previously, the team from Nam Dinh recruited Kyle Hudlin (born in 2000). The English striker has an outstanding height of 2.1 m. With an outstanding physique and neat playing style, Hudlin shone in his debut match for Nam Dinh in the National Super Cup with 2 goals.

Many foreign soldiers

Nam Dinh FC also has 2 more foreign players. Njabulo Blom (born in 1999) is a South African national and plays as a midfielder. He is a familiar face in the American professional soccer league - MLS, having played for St. Louis CITY SC. Njabulo Blom was also called up and played for the South African national team.

Mahmoud Eid (born 1993) plays as a winger, holding dual Palestinian and Swedish nationality. Before moving to Nam Dinh, he played football in Sweden, Denmark, Indonesia, Qatar, Bahrain, Thailand... Mahmoud Eid is currently a Palestinian national team player.

Besides the 4 foreign recruits, Nam Dinh also retained Marlos Brenner and Caio Cesar. On the other hand, the team said goodbye to Joseph Mpande and Walber Mota.

Nam Dinh FC plays in 4 arenas this season, including V-League, National Cup, AFC Champions League 2 and ASEAN Club Championship. Coach Vu Hong Viet's team is the current V-League champion. In the National Super Cup match, Nam Dinh lost 2-3 to Hanoi Police FC at their home ground Thien Truong.
