The draft documents of the 14th Party Congress include: Political Report; Summary Report on a number of theoretical and practical issues on the reform process in the direction of socialism in the past 40 years in Vietnam , and Summary Report on 15 years of implementing the Party Charter. In particular, the draft Political Report is built on the basis of integrating 3 reports, including: Political Report, Socio-Economic Report, Summary Report on Party building and implementation of the Party Charter.

Many highlights

The political report presented to the 14th National Party Congress is titled: Under the glorious flag of the Party, join hands and unite to successfully implement the country's development goals by 2030; be strategically autonomous, self-reliant, self-confident, and move forward strongly in the era of the nation's rise for peace , independence, democracy, wealth, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadily move towards socialism.

At the recent 13th Central Conference, the Party Central Committee assigned the Politburo to complete the draft document and send it to collect public opinions.

The report said that the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress took place in a context of many difficulties and challenges. However, with the will and aspiration to develop, create the future, innovative thinking, great efforts, and drastic actions, the entire Party, people, and army joined hands and unanimously implemented the Resolution of the 13th National Congress. The Party firmly led the country to continue to achieve very important, comprehensive, and breakthrough results, with many outstanding highlights.

Specifically, economic development, implementation of 3 strategic breakthroughs achieved many important and outstanding results; resource management, environmental protection and adaptation to climate change had positive changes. In particular, GDP growth in the period of 2021 - 2025 reached an average of about 6.3%/year, belonging to the group of high-growth countries in the region and the world. GDP scale in 2025 is estimated to reach over 510 billion USD, 1.47 times higher than in 2020, ranking 32nd in the world; GDP per capita reached about 5,000 USD, joining the group of upper middle-income countries... The development of culture, people and society achieved very important results, with many aspects of progress; social security and people's lives were increasingly improved. The happiness ranking index increased 33 places compared to the beginning of the term, ranking 46/143 countries.

At the same time, the assessment report stated that national defense and security were constantly consolidated and enhanced; foreign relations and international integration were upgraded, achieving many outstanding results. The building and rectification of the Party and the political system achieved many very important results, with outstanding aspects and unprecedented breakthroughs. In particular, for the first time, the arrangement of 100% of provincial and municipal Party Secretaries and heads of commune-level inspection committees was completed who were not local people. At the same time, a plan was developed to arrange personnel for chairmen of provincial and municipal People's Committees and chief inspectors of provinces and cities who were not local people before and immediately after the 14th National Party Congress.

The report also particularly emphasized the revolution in reorganizing the political system in the direction of streamlining, compactness, strength, efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency, which has achieved breakthrough results.
