Art program "Under the light of glory": Proud epic of Ho Chi Minh City in the new era

On the evening of October 15, at 3 locations in Saigon ward, Binh Duong ward and Ba Ria ward, a special art program took place to celebrate the success of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, with the theme "Under the glorious light".

Attending at the Binh Duong ward bridge were comrades: Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Hoang Son, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province (formerly); Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Vo Van Dung, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Three points of contact, one flow

At the beginning of the program, the stage space at 3 points was lit up with music , light and performing arts, creating a sacred and solemn atmosphere. The medley The Party Flag - Oh Vietnam, Spring Has Come resounded majestically, depicting the steadfast belief of the entire nation under the guiding light of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

The success of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 is a major political event, not only for the city but also for the whole country. This is a milestone opening a new development period, where the spirit of "pioneering - creativity - courage" of the Party Committee and people of the city is affirmed more strongly than ever.

The art program consists of three major chapters: “Forever Bright Faith” - “Bright City” - “Pride of Vietnam”. Each chapter is a vivid art painting, leading viewers through the glorious journey of 95 years of the Party, 50 years of national unification, 80 years of National Day, to move towards a new era of development.

With the live TV bridge structure, the three bridge points of Saigon ward, Binh Duong ward and Ba Ria ward have created a unified cultural and artistic space, spreading the congress's atmosphere.

At the Saigon Ward bridge, large-scale art performances gathered hundreds of professional actors and the masses: HBSO Symphony Orchestra, Phuong Nam Choir, song and dance groups, armed forces, students, children... creating a majestic performance space, spreading deep pride in the Party, Uncle Ho and the nation.

In Binh Duong and Ba Ria wards, the program was built with art performances bearing the identity of the land, clearly showing the spirit of innovation and integration. Melodies praising the homeland and country such as You are the belief in victory, Ho Chi Minh City is the shining belief, Sea, land and sky ... resounded as an affirmation of the determination to unite and develop the whole region.

Aspiration to rise in the new era

The highlight of the program is a series of performances combining singing, dancing, music, visual art, laser mapping, smoke effects, artistic fireworks, etc., creating a strong visual and emotional experience. In addition, many performances for children, youth and armed forces demonstrate the inheritance and continuation of the revolutionary tradition of today's generation - the future owners of the city and the country.

The program also conveys a message about a new development vision: expanding regional development space, turning Ho Chi Minh City into an international "super city", a high-tech financial center, a center of marine economy, industry and resort tourism of the region.

The special art program “Under the light of glory” spreads a strong message: Ho Chi Minh City - the city named after Uncle Ho - continues to promote its heroic, united, pioneering, and creative traditions, contributing to bringing Vietnam into an era of strong and prosperous development.
