Mao Khe Coal Company celebrates 70 years of Restoration and Development Day November 15 (1954-2024)

On the morning of November 9, in Dong Trieu City, Mao Khe Coal Company solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Restoration and Development Day (November 15, 1954 - November 15, 2024).

After 70 years of restoration and development, Mao Khe Coal Company has recorded the footsteps of more than 24,500 miners; dug over 900km of tunnels; exploited over 70 million tons of coal. During the past journey, at each historical period, under the direct leadership of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group , the attention and facilitation of the Central Committees, ministries, branches, Quang Ninh province and Dong Trieu city government, the collective of workers of Mao Khe Coal Company always promoted the tradition of "Discipline and Unity", upholding the will of "Self-reliance - Self-strengthening", diligence, creativity in production labor, striving to excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Leaders of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group presented flowers to congratulate Mao Khe Coal Company on the occasion of the anniversary.

Currently, the Company is exploiting the final phase of the 1.6 million tons/year Project and urgently accelerating the progress of the underground mining project down to the depth of -150 to -400, maintaining the mining capacity from 2-2.5 million tons/year from 2025. In the sustainable development strategy, Mao Khe Coal will continue to promote technological innovation, apply science and technology in production; take care of human resource development; improve the material and spiritual life of workers.

On this occasion, Mao Khe Coal Company was awarded the Emulation Flag of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises; Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group for its outstanding achievements in emulation in production labor.
