Tan Thanh Ward is a class 1 ward of Tam Ky City. Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh Ward said that in the past 5 years (2019 - 2024), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has been constantly strengthened in terms of organization, innovated in content and practical methods of operation. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has coordinated to organize many movements that are close to the actual situation of the locality.

Over the past 5 years, the Ward Front has mobilized more than 260 million VND into the Fund for the Poor; received more than 125 million VND to support the work of overcoming damage caused by natural disasters and fires.

From mobilized resources, the Front supported the repair and construction of 8 solidarity houses from the budget of the Fund for the Poor of the ward. In addition, it also supported the repair of houses affected by natural disasters, provided means of production, provided medical examination and treatment, and helped disadvantaged students...

With the contributions of the Front, it has contributed to completely eliminating poor households in the ward since 2020 and by 2022, the ward will have no near-poor households.

Up to now, Tan Thanh ward has been recognized by superiors as having 14 streets meeting urban civilized standards. This result is the result of the joint efforts of the Front and its member organizations.

According to the report, in the past 5 years, people in the blocks have voluntarily contributed 750 working days, donated 300m of road; installed electricity to light more than 1,600m, and renovated the welcome gates of residential areas...

During the term, the Ward Front organized 8 "People's Forums" and 5 "Direct Dialogue" conferences between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the people. The supervision and social criticism activities of the Front and socio -political organizations have increasingly gone into depth, closely and effectively...

Tan Thanh is a ward with many religious establishments, with about 1,042 followers of Buddhism, Protestantism, Catholicism, Caodaism and Brhai religion.
