The total investment capital of the entire project is more than 9,000 billion VND. The route runs parallel to National Highway 1, running from Quy Nhon city to Hoai Nhon town, and is expected to create a driving force for comprehensive development in the east of Binh Dinh province.

Although only a part of the project has been completed, the DT.639 route has been put into use and received many positive reviews from the people and tourists.
