Tourism helps Da Nang earn nearly 45,000 billion VND

The cumulative nine-month figure of Da Nang's tourism industry alone shows that accommodation establishments served more than 14.4 million visitors, an increase of 22.3% over the same period.

On the morning of October 10, the Da Nang City Party Committee held its first meeting to evaluate the situation of all aspects of work in the third quarter of 2025, the first 9 months of the year and discuss solutions to implement tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025. Among them, the impressive number that can be mentioned belongs to the Da Nang tourism industry.

According to the report of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Da Nang tourism continued to develop strongly in the first 9 months of 2025 with many unique festivals and cultural events.

In the first 9 months, accommodation establishments served more than 14.4 million visitors (up more than 22% over the same period). Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 5.8 million (up more than 27%), domestic visitors are more than 8.6 million (up 19%).

Notably, revenue from accommodation, food and beverage and travel reached more than VND44,700 billion, up 19% over the same period, reflecting the effectiveness of promotion, advertising and diversification of tourism products.

Besides tourism, the city's economy in the first 9 months of 2025 has many bright spots. The total GRDP in the third quarter is estimated to increase by 9.45%, the first 9 months of the year is estimated to increase by 9.83%, continuing to maintain a growth rate of over 10% in some sectors.

The industrial and construction sector is estimated to increase by nearly 12%, the service sector is estimated to increase by nearly 11%, and the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is estimated to increase by 3.54%. State budget revenue reached more than 40,200 billion VND, an increase of nearly 23% over the same period, reaching nearly 80% of the estimate.

The city continues to focus on attracting investment and developing human resources in high-tech industries, semiconductors, microchips and artificial intelligence. In the first 9 months, Da Nang attracted 429.13 million USD in FDI capital with 87 new projects, an increase of more than 40% in the number of projects and 58% in capital compared to the same period in 2024. Domestic investment capital reached nearly 140,500 billion VND.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh emphasized that sectors and localities need to continue to synchronously implement solutions to promote economic growth, accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital, and start and complete key projects.
