The area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh has scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain. The area from Quang Tri to Lam Dong and the South has scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, with some places experiencing heavy rain.

According to the hydrometeorological agency, due to the influence of a weak cold air mass, from the night of October 13 to October 16, many places in the North and Central regions will have rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, with some places having heavy to very heavy rain.

Other areas are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms may contain tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Experts say that October is the most obvious transitional period of the year in the North.
