The championship title of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 belongs to Lai Mai Hoa

On the evening of October 12, the final night of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 ended with the championship title belonging to Lai Mai Hoa. The victory helped the young girl receive a prize worth 300 million VND, along with the opportunity to walk on fashion runways in England, France, Italy and appear on the cover of a famous magazine.

Born in 2005, Lai Mai Hoa has an impressive height of 1m84, with three measurements of 83-65-96 cm. She is currently a student of the Faculty of Development Economics , University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. On the Faculty's Fanpage, Mai Hoa is mentioned as "the pride of Economics students", "a testament to the spirit of knowledge combined with style". Sharing about her choice of major, she said: "Economics helps me understand the world, and fashion helps me express myself".

Before coming to the contest, Lai Mai Hoa was already a familiar face on many major catwalks, having performed for designers such as Nguyen Minh Cong, Nguyen Hung Bao, Ha Duy, and participating in Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall - Winter 2024 in Hanoi .

Sharing about her journey to Vietnam's Next Top Model season 9, Mai Hoa said: "When I was little, people around me often teased me that when I grew up, I should compete in Vietnam's Next Top Model . I never expected that now, when the show returns, "Hoa" is old enough to make that dream come true."

In this year’s competition, Lai Mai Hoa started to attract attention right from the Top Model Online competition – the opening activity marking the return of the program after many years of hiatus. Thanks to the highest total score (50% from the audience’s votes and 50% from the judges), she led the top 36 contestants, winning the only golden ticket to enter the common house.

With an angular face, strong charisma, solid catwalk skills and the ability to transform flexibly in front of the camera, Lai Mai Hoa continuously left her mark in each round. Judge Thanh Hang commented: "Mai Hoa knows how to listen, absorb and shine at the right time." Meanwhile, designer Do Manh Cuong gave special praise: "Every time Mai Hoa steps into the shooting set, I always have to exclaim "wow" because of the surprise she brings."

Not only does Mai Hoa stand out for her appearance and demeanor, she also has a good foreign language foundation - an important factor that will help her conquer the international stage in the future. During her journey on the show, she won the challenge twice, especially shining in the video recording competitions, demonstrating her diverse expressive ability and sensitivity in front of the camera.

The model once shared: "Many people think that I got into the house because of my outstanding height. However, I want to show the audience that I have many qualities to pursue a long-term, professional career."

After winning Vietnam's Next Top Model, Lai Mai Hoa will sign a 2-year modeling contract with the production company. She will also have the opportunity to travel to fashion capitals around the world and expand her career.
